Terms of Service
Effective September 30, 2026
The short version: you get a year of access for $5.99, and it renews every year until you cancel. Cancel anytime and you keep access through the year you paid for. You bring your own questions and are responsible for having the right to use them. This is a study tool, not medical advice, and it isn't affiliated with any exam organization.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Practice Question Simulator at practicequestionsimulator.com (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Gavin Skipper (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an individual based in Louisiana, USA. By buying access or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Practice Question Simulator is browser-based study software. You load practice questions you already have, in a CSV (comma-separated values) file, and take them in an exam-style interface. We don't sell, provide, or review exam questions or answers.
The Service is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBME (National Board of Medical Examiners), the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination), or any question bank. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the style of exam the Service imitates.
2. Your account
- Buying access creates an account for the email address you use at checkout. That email address is your username.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy access.
- Your subscription is for you alone. Keep your password private, and don't share your login or resell access.
- You're responsible for activity under your account. If you think someone else is using it, email us at support@practicequestionsimulator.com.
3. Subscription, billing, and renewal
- Price. Access costs $5.99 per year, plus any tax calculated at checkout. Prices may be shown in your local currency.
- Who processes your payment. Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Your receipt and card statement will say “Link” or “LINK.COM.” Link's own terms, shown at checkout, also apply to the payment.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every year, and the renewal price is charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel. Link emails you a reminder before your subscription renews.
- Price changes. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you have time to cancel.
- Canceling. You can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription” after you log in, or at link.com. Canceling stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the yearly period you've already paid for, and then access ends. You won't be charged again.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Link may retry it. If the payment can't be collected, your subscription ends and access stops.
4. Refunds
Purchases are non-refundable except in the situations described in our Refund Policy, such as duplicate charges or billing errors.
5. Your questions and content
- You choose what to load into the Service. Your files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us, so we don't see, store, or review them.
- You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any questions, explanations, and images you load, and for following your school's rules and any exam provider's rules.
- Don't use the Service with material that you obtained in violation of copyright, a confidentiality agreement, or exam security rules. This includes recalled or leaked questions from a live exam.
- The Service doesn't check your questions or answer keys for accuracy. Content you load may contain errors.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- share your account, or resell or give away access;
- try to get around the login or payment system, or access other people's accounts or data;
- interfere with, overload, or attack the Service or the systems it runs on;
- copy, resell, or redistribute the Service's software or design, other than normal personal use of the website;
- use the Service for anything illegal.
7. Not medical advice; no guarantee of results
The Service is a study tool. Nothing in it is medical advice or a substitute for professional judgment, clinical training, or official exam materials. We don't guarantee any score, grade, or exam result.
8. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features. We work to keep the Service available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we permanently shut down the Service, we'll stop all renewals and refund the unused part of your current year, as described in the Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, for example by sharing your account. If we end your access for a violation, you won't receive a refund. You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or study time, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll also email you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
The short version: your question files never leave your browser. We store the email you paid with and your subscription status, and nothing about what you study or how you score. We don't sell your information and don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
This policy explains what information Practice Question Simulator (the “Service”) collects, how it's used, and your choices. The Service is operated by Gavin Skipper (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an individual based in Louisiana, USA. You can reach us at support@practicequestionsimulator.com.
1. What we collect
- Account information. Your email address, which is also your username. Your password is stored in hashed (scrambled) form by our login provider, so we can't see it.
- Subscription information from Stripe. Your Stripe customer and subscription IDs (identification numbers), whether your subscription is active or set to cancel, and its renewal or end date. We never receive your full card number.
- Support emails. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and service providers automatically process technical data such as your IP (Internet Protocol) address, browser type, and request logs in order to deliver and secure the Service.
2. What we don't collect
- Your questions and results. Question files, answers, explanations, images, highlights, notes, scores, and results are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to us.
- Tracking. We don't use analytics services, advertising trackers, or advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share your personal information for advertising.
3. What's stored in your own browser
The Service uses your browser's local storage to keep you logged in, to save a block in progress so you can resume it, and to remember display settings such as text size and dark mode. This information stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
The page loads fonts from Google Fonts and the login library from jsDelivr, which receive your IP address as part of a normal web request. If a question file links to images hosted on other websites, your browser loads those images directly from those websites.
4. How we use information
- To create your account, confirm that your subscription is active, and let you log in.
- To send account emails, such as your set-password and password-reset links.
- To send important notices about the Service, such as price changes or updates to our policies. We don't send marketing emails.
- To answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the Service, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe and Link: checkout, payments, tax, receipts, and subscription management. Stripe and Link collect your payment details and billing information directly, under their own privacy policies (Stripe, Link).
- Supabase: accounts, login, and our customer database (hosted in the United States).
- Resend: delivering account emails.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security, and forwarding emails sent to our support address.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: delivering fonts and the login code library to your browser.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service, or as part of a transfer of the Service to a new owner, who would be bound by this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and subscription records while you have an account, and afterward for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, and so you can log back in if you resubscribe. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may keep a minimal record of past transactions when the law requires it. Stripe and Link keep their own records under their policies.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete, or get a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@practicequestionsimulator.com from the address you paid with. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, such as California, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them. You can also ask Link to delete your Link account and payment data.
8. Security
The Service uses encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords, and database rules that let each user see only their own record. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Where information is processed
We and our service providers process information in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information will be transferred to the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and we'll email you about significant changes.

Refund Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
The short version: purchases are final. You can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal, and you keep access through the end of the year you paid for. Duplicate charges and billing errors are always refunded.
1. Purchases are non-refundable
A purchase gives you immediate access to Practice Question Simulator for a full year. Because access starts right away, we don't offer refunds or credits for partial years, unused time, or renewals that weren't canceled in time. Link emails you a reminder before your subscription renews, so you have time to cancel if you no longer want it.
2. Canceling
You can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription” after you log in, or at link.com (sign in with the email you paid with). Canceling stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the yearly period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
3. When we do give refunds
We'll refund you if:
- you were charged more than once for the same subscription period;
- you were charged because of a billing error on our side, such as being charged after you canceled;
- we permanently shut down the Service, in which case we'll refund the unused part of your current year;
- a refund is required by the consumer protection laws where you live.
To ask for one of these refunds, email support@practicequestionsimulator.com within 60 days of the charge. Include the email address you paid with and the date of the charge.
4. Refunds through Link
Your purchase is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link support can also review refund requests made within 60 days of a payment and may issue a refund under its own policies. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 3 to 7 business days. When a purchase is refunded, the subscription is canceled and access ends.
